PRAGMA: Building a new MBO era for the Cardano ecosystem
The Cardano Foundation, in collaboration with Blink Labs, dcSpark, Sundae Labs, and TxPipe, has introduced PRAGMA, an inclusive, non-profit association dedicated to advancing blockchain software initiatives. These five entities, deeply entrenched in IT development and engineering within the Cardano ecosystem, aspire to cultivate an alternative open-source environment for Cardano and beyond.
Embracing an open-source ethos, PRAGMA aims to nurture a diverse range of technological solutions tailored to enterprise requirements. This fosters an inclusive and innovative atmosphere, empowering developers to contribute and enhance tools for the network's evolution. Recognizing the significance of open-source technologies, the Cardano Foundation underscores their pivotal role in fortifying the ecosystem's sustainability and resilience.
Catalyst Announces Fund12: Meet the new category that was added!
Project Catalyst elevates collaborative innovation to unprecedented levels, energizing the expansion of the Cardano ecosystem. By bridging visionary minds with vital funding, it fosters connection and collaboration within the Cardano community. Catalyst announced the Fund12 launch party in Barcelona, where members from across the community gathered.
Fund12 was announced on April 26 and will contain a total of ₳50.000.000 to boost Cardano ecosystem! The proposal submissions will be categorized: Cardano Use cases (₳22.5M), Cardano Open (₳16M) and this time Cardano Partners and Real World Integrations (₳8M)
The total category Cardano Use cases budget is divided equally into three funding tracks: Concept (₳7.5M), MVP (₳7.5M) and Product (₳7.5M). In the Cardano Open category, the total budget is divided into two funding tracks: Developers (₳10.5 million) and Ecosystem (₳5.5 million).
Introducing a New Category: Sparking Cardano's Mainstream Momentum and Marketing Alliances
Cardano Partners and RWI accepting grant funding proposals to ignite partnerships and adoption for Cardano with leaders of industry. For blue chip collaborations, venture acceleration, and primetime marketing for Cardano mainstream adoption.
Nucast Introduces Nuauth: Safeguarding Digital Content Integrity
The emergence of digital media has transformed the landscape of content creation, distribution, and consumption, ushering in new paradigms. However, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in content generation has brought forth intricate issues concerning copyright infringement and media source credibility.
This is where Nucast introduces Nuauth, an innovative authentication protocol harnessed on the Cardano blockchain, strategically tailored to confront the hurdles surrounding content authenticity and provenance head-on. By ensuring rightful ownership and verifying origins, this protocol establishes a fundamental layer of trust and transparency within the digital content realm.
The Broad Impact of Nuauth
Crafted as a proactive solution against unauthorized digital media usage, Nuauth capitalizes on blockchain's inherent security attributes to establish an immutable ledger of content creation and ownership, safeguarding against tampering and manipulation.
Cardano Buidler Fest #1 on Toulouse
On April 23 and 24, Cardano Buidler Fest #1 took place in Toulouse, France. The event was a conference for builders, by builders, packed with everything technical about Cardano and blockchain. It was focused on community developers where it was packed with demos, project presentations, and techniques for them to showcase their incredible work.

🎊 A Message from Lucas 🎊
Hey everyone! One new week, one new newsletter! Wow, this week has been nothing short of amazing. For those of you who haven't been following on X, I've been very busy. I started the week with BuidlerFest, which was just amazing; my brain got fried hearing some of the discussions in that place, especially regarding ZK proof. After BuidlerFest, I stayed for an extra day in Toulouse to attend the Toulouse dreps workshops hosted by my good friends Einstein, Bee & Thomas. Amazing representatives from the Cardano community.
After France, I took a train to Barcelona and attended the Catalyst F12 Workshop and launch party, hosted by my good friends Mauro Andreoli, Kriss Baird, and Daniel Ribar.
Writing this on my way back to Buenos Aires. Time to get back to work. This following week, I will be mainly focusing on Token Allies Fund 1 launch and the upcoming 3 Cardano events that will be hosted in my city. Will be looking for sponsors, let me know if you are interested.
Here's to a new week building on Cardano. So excited about some of the latest announcements!
