Intersect is now receiving applications to host global workshops on drafting its Constitution, which will be voted on and ratified by 2025. Make sure you apply and participate in the decision-making process.
Intersect is hosting public workshops for community members to actively participate in drafting the final Cardano Constitution. This initiative puts the community at the center of Cardano's governance development.
The process involves creating and approving a final Constitution. A key element is the opportunity to host global workshops focused on drafting the document. Applications to host these workshops are now being accepted.
Intersect, working closely with its members and guided by the Cardano Civics Committee, will facilitate discussions leading up to the on-chain ratification of the final Constitution in early 2025.
The Cardano Civics Committee will contribute by providing input on a new draft and defining the process for selecting delegates for the Cardano Constitutional Convention in Buenos Aires this December.
Building on the foundation provided by the interim Constitution and CIP-1694, community input through these workshops will help establish a comprehensive set of principles, governance procedures, and rights for the Cardano ecosystem.
Intersect members can apply to run funded in-person workshops with a virtual attendance option, bringing the consultation process worldwide. Workshop organizers will receive training and materials to ensure a structured and productive experience for participants. Non-members can also apply, receiving training and onboarding support but no funding.
Workshops are expected to take place between August 1st and October 15th.
Applications are open now and close on Thursday, June 13th. Organizers will be notified by early July, with workshops commencing in August and continuing through October.
