π Input Output Unveils Cardano Vision 2026

Input Output presented the formal Cardano Vision 2026 plan, the most ambitious strategic roadmap the network has published to date.
The plan consists of 15 separate programs grouped around 6 core domains, designed to convert 42 R&D outcomes from foundational studies into practical, production-ready technologies.
Three strategic pillars now define Cardano's direction: user-centric design, scalable architecture, and post-quantum security. Five Cardano Improvement Proposals are already moving toward implementation, covering identity services, ZK-enabled Layer 2 scalability, and quantum-safe mechanisms.
The Vision 2026 announcement is the operational map that ties together Van Rossem, Leios, Midnight, post-quantum lattice work and the broader 2026 budget process into a single execution framework, positioning Cardano for one of its most decisive execution years.
π Lace Wallet iOS App Now LIVE on Apple App Store

Lace Wallet's iOS app officially went live on the Apple App Store, completing the mobile rollout that began with Android in April 2026.
iPhone users can now send, receive, stake, and manage assets directly on Cardano from mobile, with swap, fiat on-ramp, and additional dApp Explorer entries rolling out as Apple clears them.
Lace is Input Output's flagship self-custody wallet and the only mainstream Cardano wallet that unifies Cardano, Midnight, and Bitcoin in a single app since the Lace 2.0 launch. The iOS release closes a critical UX gap for Cardano users who prefer iPhone as their main entry point into the network.
The timing is notable: iOS availability lands just days before the Van Rossem mainnet vote on May 29, broadening the pool of users who can interact with the upgraded network, including delegators participating in governance from mobile.
π€ Atlas DeFi Launches Public Testnet on Cardano

Atlas DeFi launched its public testnet on Cardano, bringing fully on-chain leveraged perpetual trading to the network ahead of mainnet. Users can now test perpetual markets for BTC, ETH, ADA, XRP, and SNEK on Preprod, with leaderboard rewards, content sharing incentives, and platform testing programs running in parallel.
Atlas represents one of the first leveraged perpetual venues built natively on Cardano, expanding the DeFi 2.0 stack with the kind of derivatives infrastructure that has historically driven volume on competing chains. The launch follows the broader buildout of institutional-grade pricing infrastructure on Cardano in recent months.
For traders, this opens up leveraged exposure to BTC, ETH, ADA, and SNEK without leaving Cardano, and for the ecosystem, it adds a major missing piece in the path toward becoming a complete DeFi destination, not just a spot trading network.
