🤖 Cardano Developer Skills Now Available to Claude, Codex and Other AI Models

The Cardano Foundation published cardano-foundation/cardano-dev-skills, a set of agentic development skills that AI coding agents, including Claude, Codex and others, can load directly. Instead of relying on stale training data, AI assistants now pull up-to-date Cardano documentation, tooling and workflows when helping developers build on the network.

The repository is public on GitHub and surfaced through the Cardano Developer Portal's AI-agents section, putting it in front of the growing number of builders who now start projects alongside an AI assistant.

The goal is to flatten Cardano's historically steeper learning curve. As @Cardanians_io put it, better AI understanding of Cardano's tech is a big help for anyone new to the ecosystem, a small piece of infrastructure that quietly lowers the barrier to entry on #Cardano at exactly the moment AI-assisted development is becoming the default.

🍨 SundaeSwap Reveals Sundae v4, Its Next Major Protocol Upgrade

Sundae Labs shared the first details of Sundae v4, the next major iteration of the SundaeSwap protocol, one of Cardano's earliest and leading DEXs. The upgrade introduces smart routing, concentrated liquidity, multi-asset pools, custom vaults and partial fills, a significant step toward more capital-efficient, advanced DeFi on Cardano.

@Cardanians_io flagged it as a big upgrade toward more advanced DeFi on Cardano, with the first details published via the Sundae Labs blog post Introducing Sundae v4.

The direction matters: concentrated liquidity and smart routing are the features that made newer-generation DEXs on other chains far more capital-efficient, and bringing them to Cardano's eUTxO model narrows a long-standing gap. For a protocol that helped bootstrap DeFi on #Cardano in its earliest days, v4 is a bid to stay at the frontier rather than coast on incumbency.

🛠️ TxPipe Ships Dolos v1.6 With Broader Blockfrost API Coverage

TxPipe shipped Dolos v1.6, its lightweight Rust-based Cardano data node. The release expands support for more of the Blockfrost API surface, with the Blockfrost team contributing endpoints directly to the Dolos codebase, a notable case of two infrastructure projects converging rather than competing.

Dolos replaces the traditional node + indexer + API stack for read-and-submit backends, serving Blockfrost-, Kupo-compatible, gRPC and node-to-client APIs from embedded storage on just a few GB of RAM. It remains open-source under the Apache-2.0 license.

The significance is operational: running a full data backend for a dApp has long meant standing up heavy infrastructure. A single lightweight binary that speaks the APIs builders already use, maintained collaboratively with the Blockfrost team, makes it cheaper and simpler to run Cardano infrastructure, which is exactly the kind of plumbing that decides whether new projects ship on #Cardano.
