🪐 TxPipe’s Asteria Challenge: 10K ADA Up for Grabs

TxPipe has launched the Asteria Challenge on Cardano Mainnet,  a fully on-chain strategy game where developers pilot spaceships across a 2D grid, with every action represented as a UTxO.

Players move their ships by submitting transactions that update coordinates, burn fuel tokens, and gather scattered Cardano native tokens along the way. Sponsors such as HOSKY, SundaeSwap, VyFi, Indigo, FluidTokens, and more have deployed their tokens across the grid to be collected.

The ultimate quest? Reach the center at coordinates (0,0), claim the 10,000 ADA prize pool, and earn bragging rights as the first pilot to conquer the Asteria asteroid.

This experiment is more than a game,  it’s a playful demonstration of Cardano’s UTxO model and how smart contracts can power novel, interactive use cases. Perfect for degen devs looking to push blockchain mechanics to the limit.

🎟️ Cardano Summit 2025 Tickets Go Live

Cardano Summit 2025 is officially coming to Berlin on November 12–13, and tickets are now available,  with payments in $ADA accepted.

🕛 Midnight Hackathon Comes to Buenos Aires ($10K prize pool)

Midnight is hosting its first Hackathon in LATAM, taking place in Buenos Aires on August 23–24 at the Input Output offices. The event will feature a $10,000 USDM prize pool and focus on building privacy-first solutions.

Organized by the Midnight Foundation with leadership from local coordinators and community builders, the Hackathon will bring together top developers from Argentina and across Latin America.

Participants will compete for prizes of $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000, while contributing to Midnight’s ecosystem growth and engaging with the upcoming Glacier Drop.

This initiative follows the successful Cardano Tech Week and signals Midnight’s growing commitment to the region. It’s a chance for devs to learn, innovate, and build directly with one of Cardano’s most ambitious projects.
