🐱‍🏍 Minswap Launches Trading Competition with Zealy Integration

Cardano’s leading DEX, Minswap, has launched its first-ever Trading Competition, a Catalyst-funded initiative designed to boost volume, reward users, and grow the Cardano DeFi ecosystem.

The 54-day campaign includes a base pool of 100K ADA, $30K in partner token rewards, and a portion of trading fees added monthly. Users earn points based on trading volume, with multipliers up to 5x for swapping $MIN. The top 100 wallets will win rewards, and a live leaderboard tracks progress at minswap.org/leaderboard.

In parallel, Minswap has teamed up with Zealy to run a complementary “DeFi Onboarding” campaign. Users can complete quests, trade, and earn rewards via Zealy’s gamified platform, bringing Cardano DeFi to new users in a fun and engaging way.

In just 10 hours, the competition has already seen 1.4M ADA in volume and 2.5M points generated. Cardano DeFi is heating up and this could be just the beginning.

🔐 Trezor Adds Cardano Message Signing

On September 17, hardware wallet giant Trezor released firmware v2.9.1, officially adding support for signing arbitrary messages on Cardano, a feature long requested by the community.

This functionality plays a critical role in enabling secure identity verification for on-chain protocols. Most notably, it allows hardware wallet users to participate in the Glacier Drop and claim their $NIGHT tokens on Midnight.

As Cardano continues to expand into more advanced privacy, DeFi, and governance tooling, message signing is becoming a critical primitive. Trezor’s support marks a key milestone in improving hardware wallet compatibility and enhancing user sovereignty.

🐍 Snek.fun Surpasses 75M ADA in Trading Volume

Snek.fun, Cardano’s top launchpad and meme-driven marketplace,  has surpassed 78M ADA in total trading volume, according to new stats from its one-year anniversary.

Inspired by platforms like pump.fun on Solana, Snek.fun lets anyone easily launch tokens, meme coins, or experiments in a frictionless, community-driven way. With over 19,500 tokens launched and 36,000+ unique wallets, it’s become a hotbed for on-chain experimentation and memetic culture.

Unlike traditional launchpads, Snek.fun prioritizes community and spontaneity, making it the go-to place for quick launches, micro-trading, and exploration of Cardano’s token ecosystem. Its success shows the appetite for lightweight, low-barrier tools that fuel grassroots activity.
