🤖 Masumi Integrates x402 to Cardano. A Step Toward the Agent Economy
Cardano is integrating the x402 payment standard, bringing it closer to powering real-world machine-to-machine payments and AI agents.
Originally developed by Coinbase and featured in Google’s Agent-Payment Protocol, x402 allows automated, verifiable, and decentralized payments between AI services, without humans in the loop.
On Cardano, the first proof-of-concept is being built by Masumi Network, showcasing how AI agents could transact using native assets with privacy, compliance, and auditability in mind.
This move places Cardano at the frontier of autonomous, programmable finance, with real potential to power the future of AI, IoT, and intelligent dApps.
